One of the many reasons that fly fishing & fall goes hand in hand. Better colors all around this time of year.

Final day of the Fall October Fly Fishing Guide School. Great memories made for years to come.

Here is another good rainbow from todays float on public water that runs right through downtown Bryson City, NC. Buzz from Boise, Idaho had many toads like this the past few days. May is one of my favorite months for the guide school.

Looking forward to starting the May Fly Fishing Guide School in the morning as the waters have been in excellent shape the past few weeks. Here is one of the half a dozen larger than average trout from todays float trip.

Jones Barton from SC during the April Fly Fishing Guide School with a nice rainbow trout. We covered swinging wets, dry fly, and many nymphing tactics.
Looking forward to the next school dates in mid May!

John with a fantastic rainbow on the swing learning about wet fly magic during the April Fly Fishing Guide School. This is public water on NC opening day of trout season. Super group of anglers passionate about improving their skills.

Final morning of the April Fly Fishing Guide School was a blast. The group did great with all of the information covered over the week. It for sure streamlined decades of trial & error for success.

Some fun practice on the sticks for the March Fly Fishing Guide School. The views from the National Park in the Smokies were an added bonus!

Mac is incredibly knowledgeable, insightful, and engaging. He draws you in with his folksome demeanor and then imparts 35+ years of fly-fishing experience before you know it. He taught me several tactics that will improve my game immediately... and many others that make me eager to practice. I couldn’t be more satisfied with the whole experience!

Great experience!!!! Don't forget a couple of writing journals for all the knowledge you will hear. You can get answers to everything you have always wondered about. When you are finished, now comes improving your skills by applying the next level of "catching fish". Have fun...fall was a great time of the year on the rivers.
